Module and Component Testing

Vehicle modules become more and more complex and must be delivered “just in sequence” and “just in time” at the production line.

It is the module supplier’s or OEM’s responsibility to permanently guarantee and prove constant quality of the assembly parts. Amendment and reworking of already built-in components is time-consuming and expensive. Therefore, extensive function tests are appropriate to detect quality defects or malfunction immediately during component assembly. So, amendments can be done fast and efficiently.

In the off-highway sector, the Module Test System MTS allows for the inspection of the correct assembly of the electronic and pneumatic components e.g. in the driver cabin. Moreover, it performs the functional test of electrical consumers and the configuration of ECUs.
