Module and Component Testing

Vehicle modules or sub-assemblies are becoming more and more complex and are often required to be delivered just in time and in sequence at the production line.

It is the supplier’s or OEM’s responsibility to guarantee and demonstrate the consistent quality of the assembled parts. Repair and reworking of already built-in components are time-consuming and expensive. Therefore, extensive function tests are appropriate to detect quality defects or malfunction immediately during component assembly. So, repairs can be done fast and efficiently.

In the automotive sector, the Module Test System (MTS) allows for the inspection of the correct assembly of the electronic components e.g. in the cockpit, door and seat. Moreover, it performs the functional test of electrical consumers and the configuration of ECUs.
