Comissioning of Vehicle Electronics

In the assembly line, the vehicle electronics are commissioned at various process locations. These include inter alia assembly inspection, customer- and vehicle-specific configuration, software update of control units as well as function check and documentation of the final vehicle state (as-built).

DSA offers various solutions for the commissioning of vehicle electronics: For this purpose, such devices can be used which are process location-bound, or so-called circulating adapters which are connected to the vehicle electronics over several line sections.

The challenge in testing today's vehicles lies in the large amount of installed control units and the high quantities. In addition, customers want highly individualized vehicle configurations. In order to achieve short commissioning times, it is important here to automate and parallelize process sequences as far as possible.
