DSA and Pascalstraßen Initiative once again send a strong signal of solidarity
On the 11th of September, the Pascalstraßen Initiative held its third blood donation campaign in the DSA premises. This year, the event was further expanded. Not only the employees of the companies in Pascalstraße were invited, but also their family members and residents from the neighbouring areas.
A total of 112 people attended to donate blood, 35 of whom were donating blood for the first time. Once again, the initiative sent out a strong signal of solidarity and social commitment and made an important contribution to security of supply in the region. After all, blood donations remain indispensable despite modern medicine.
The campaign showed once again that joint commitment has an impact beyond company boundaries. In addition to directly supporting the blood supply, it also strengthens awareness of social responsibility and community cohesion.
For employees, the campaign was organised during working hours. As in previous years, Kisters AG donated a snack for refreshments after the donations. The German Red Cross ensured that everything ran smoothly, from the medical counselling to the follow-up of the donations. The participating companies plan to continue this successful initiative in the future in order to secure supplies in the long term and further promote networking in Pascalstraße.
