DSA again presents Battery Lifecycle Management at The Battery Show North America

From the 7th to 10th of October 2024, DSA returned to the Battery Show North America in Detroit, Michigan. Once again, we were present at the largest event for advanced batteries and hybrid and electric vehicles in North America. At our booth, visitors could learn about our innovative solutions for sustainable battery lifecycle management.

In a live demonstration of the automated battery cell tester developed by DSA and S4 International, visitors were able to learn how battery cell manufacturers can take advantage of fast cell testing with accelerated quality checks. The data collected during the tests on cell quality forms the basis for the future lifecycle management of high-voltage energy storage devices.

Maximising safety through data acquisition in production

With a series of videos, we gave visitors a first-hand insight into our sustainable solutions and demonstrated how our solutions exploit the potential for improvement in the design and manufacture of high-voltage batteries and ensure safety in their operation. The automated DSA solution for battery cell testing ensures quality control while also providing important data on cell quality. This helps manufacturers to efficiently produce high-performance modules and avoid operational problems. The test data also serves as a ‘fingerprint’ for each battery cell, marking the beginning of the battery's life cycle.

Production and after-sales solutions

In addition, our experts presented further DSA solutions in the areas of smart production and remote diagnostics in the after-sales sector for the entire life cycle of vehicles, with exciting and informative updates on the latest developments in the safe and sustainable testing of high-voltage batteries.
