DSA acquires SIXTAU and strengthens its expertise in vehicle testing solutions
Aachen, October 21st, 2025 – DSA Daten- und Systemtechnik GmbH, based in Aachen, Germany, a leading provider of software and hardware solutions for vehicle diagnostics and vehicle life cycle management, has acquired the Italian technology company SIXTAU SPA. Both companies have outstanding expertise in the field of end-of-line testing (EOL). By combining their skills, DSA is strengthening its market position in this strategically important segment, increasing its footprint in the global automotive market, and opening up to new customer groups.
DSA is expanding its portfolio with the integration of SIXTAU, adding new technologies and applications, particularly in cable testing and EOL-Testbenches. This enables DSA to address additional customer groups, such as Tier 2 suppliers, including manufacturers of electronic control units, sensors, battery management systems, and high-voltage cables.
“With SIXTAU, we are gaining a highly specialized team that perfectly complements our existing expertise in the field of EOL testing,” explains Dr. Thomas Huth, Managing Director of DSA. “Together, we will expand our footprint as a supplier and service provider in the global automotive market in the field of EOL testing. With our new colleagues from SIXTAU, we are gaining more capacity to serve important national markets, and we expand our current portfolio with new solutions, especially for Tier 2 suppliers.”
SIXTAU brings more than 40 years of experience in the development of automated test and calibration systems and is firmly established in the European automotive and supplier industry. Together with DSA, this creates a stronger, integrated solution portfolio that supports customers from development to series production and offers state-of-the-art test technologies for electrical and connected vehicle systems.

SIXTAU will be integrated into the international DSA Group and will continue to operate under its current name at its location in Italy. All employees will be retained.
