Conference on Diagnostics Dresden 2025: DSA presents integrated solution for vehicle diagnostics and data access

This year, DSA will once again attend the Diagnostics Conference for Mechatronic Vehicle Systems in Dresden with a presentation and a stand. This year's conference will take place from the 3rd to 4th of June. The annual event is a platform for experts from OEMs, suppliers and service companies to discuss the latest trends and technologies in vehicle diagnostics.

At the conference, Dr Boris Böhlen and Dr Diana Fischer from DSA will present new developments relating to the harmonisation of vehicle data access and diagnostic systems. This year's presentation will focus on the integration of two central standards: The Service-Oriented Vehicle Diagnostics (SOVD) defined by ASAM and the Vehicle Signal Specification (VSS) of COVESA. While VSS provides a uniform structure for vehicle data and standardises access with the VISS API, SOVD enables comprehensive diagnostic functions for modern software-based vehicle architectures. The combination of these approaches creates new opportunities for consistent utilisation of vehicle data - from development and production to fleet management and workshop applications.

Learn from specific use cases how a standardised and scalable solution for vehicle data access and diagnostics can be realised by linking ASAM SOVD and COVESA VSS. This applies to both vehicle access and the standardisation of diagnostic information within the vehicle. Follow the presentation on 3rd of June 2025 at 16:00 p.m. and visit us at our stand in the exhibition area to discuss the latest developments in the industry with us.
