6th ASAM Regional Meeting China: DSA gets Diagnostic Technology Innovation Award for innovative engineering solution PRODIS.OFT
At the beginning of November, representatives of the DSA Group took part in the 6th ASAM Regional Meeting China in Shanghai, where they made a strong impact.
In her presentation ‘Lifecycle Value of SOVD, ODX & OTX’, Dr Diana Fischer outlined the digital transformation path for vehicles – from development and production to after-sales services in the age of software-defined vehicles (SDVs). She showed how the three ASAM standards SOVD, ODX and OTX create a unified and flexible technical basis that enables OEMs to manage diagnostics efficiently, reuse knowledge, save both time and costs, and accelerate innovation cycles.
For their ongoing work on modern diagnostic solutions and the further development of diagnostic standards, experts from DSA China were honoured with the 2025 Diagnostic Technology Innovation Award – a recognition that refers in particular to the innovative strength of the PRODIS.OFT engineering solution.
The annual C-ASAM Award is given to official ASAM members and recognises their commitment to standardisation and international cooperation in the field of vehicle diagnostics. ASAM (Association for Standardisation of Automation and Measuring Systems) develops international standards for automotive software, measurement, testing and diagnostic systems. This year's award focuses on solutions based on the standardised diagnostic data format ASAM MCD-2D, the uniform software interface ASAM MCD-3D and the service-oriented vehicle diagnostics SOVD.
