User convenience functions

For an optimal presentation of our website (e.g. adaptation to different screen sizes, displayable menu, input control of the contact form) we use techniques such as Javascript and CSS (cascading style sheets). You can disable the use of these techniques by making the respective settings in your browser. In this case, however, parts of our website may no longer be accessible to you.

Newsletter

With your consent, you can subscribe to our newsletter, with which we inform you about our current interesting products, events and services. The advertised goods and services are named in the declaration of consent.

For the registration to our newsletter we use the so-called double-opt-in process. This means that after your registration, we will send you an e-mail to the e-mail address you provided, in which we ask you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter. If you do not confirm your registration within two weeks, your information will be blocked and automatically deleted after one month. In addition, we store your used IP addresses and times of registration and confirmation. The purpose of this procedure is to be able to prove your registration and, if necessary, to clarify a possible misuse of your personal data.

The only mandatory information for sending the newsletter is your e-mail address. The provision of further, separately marked data is voluntary and will be used to address you personally. After your confirmation, we store your e-mail address for the purpose of sending the newsletter. (Legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) DS-GVO).

YouTube with extended data protection

This website integrates videos from the YouTube platform. The provider of the video portal is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.
We use YouTube in extended data protection mode. According to YouTube, this mode means that YouTube does not store any information about visitors to this website before they watch the video. However, the transfer of data to YouTube partners is not necessarily excluded by the extended data protection mode.
To ensure the best possible protection of your data, embedded YouTube videos on this website are not loaded automatically. To initiate the loading of a video, you must explicitly initiate this by clicking on a corresponding button (two-click solution).
As soon as you start a YouTube video on this website via the corresponding button, a connection to YouTube's servers is established and only then will data be transmitted to YouTube.
In doing so, the YouTube server is informed which of our pages you have visited. If you have a YouTube account which you are logged into while watching the videos, YouTube can directly assign your browsing behavior to your personal profile. You can prevent this by being logged out of your YouTube account.

Furthermore, YouTube can save various cookies on your device after starting a video or use similar identification technologies (e.g. device fingerprinting). In this way, YouTube can obtain information about visitors to this website. This information is used, among other things, to collect video statistics, improve the user experience, and prevent fraud attempts.
Possibly, after the start of a YouTube video, further data processing operations may be triggered, over which we have no control.

YouTube is used in the interest of an adequate presentation of our services. This represents a legitimate interest within the sense of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
For more information about data protection at YouTube, please refer to YouTube's privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

We collect your e-mail address in order to decide whether we will provide you with this information (protection of our technical knowledge). (Legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) DS-GVO).

If we provide you with the information, you will receive an email with a download link for the requested whitepaper. After sending this e-mail, we will delete your e-mail address within 14 days, unless you have given us your consent for the further use of your e-mail address.

You can withdraw your consent at any time. To do so, send your withdrawal by e-mail to whitepaper@dsa.de. We will then delete your data within 14 days, unless there is another obligation to retain it. We will then no longer inform you about our whitepapers and our products and services by e-mail.
