PRODIS.VDS can be used flexibly in different scenarios. Simulation communication can be carried out on various end devices. In addition, the tool supports diagnostics and simulation via local hosts, LAN and cloud-based environments, especially for the simulation of DoIP communication. This enables distributed teams and scalable simulation setups typical of commercial vehicle organisations.
Version management and configuration management
In addition, PRODIS.VDS enables the management of multiple versions of simulation files. This allows easy switching between different simulation states and helps users to check and compare vehicle states in different phases, platform versions or service scenarios, facilitating troubleshooting and analysis.
PRODIS.VDS also offers functional advantages in terms of maintenance and configuration. The simulation configurations are managed in XML files, making the configuration information clear, traceable and easy to edit. In addition, the platform supports the connection of external editors to implement customer-specific adaptations and reduce long-term maintenance effort in complex commercial vehicle environments.
