Scholarship holders from FH Aachen visiting DSA

DSA supports young people in a wide range of ways throughout their training or studies on their way into the working world. The focus is also on creating a link between theory and applied practice. With this aim in mind, DSA has been awarding scholarships to students at FH Aachen for many years. In May, the university's current scholarship holders were invited to spend a day at DSA. At this event, the scholarship holders had the opportunity to make contacts in the world of work and get insights into the different professional fields and career opportunities at DSA.

In several different presentations and demonstrations, some colleagues not only illustrated the variety of applications for DSA's hardware and software solutions. The presentations and discussions also emphasized the importance of cooperation between the teams in the different areas as a prerequisite for the success of the solutions. In a follow-up session, a group leader gave an example of her career path at DSA: from her start at DSA as a developer in after sales, to working in various other areas, to technical project management with insights into direct customer contact in the lead-up to her current position as group leader and system manager for the Connected Vehicle Cloud platform.

All in all, the guests enjoyed a comprehensive program that covered both DSA's products and exemplary career paths, with the message of how diverse and interesting the career options at DSA are.
