Outstanding success: DSA-MATSE graduate achieves top place in IHK exam

Our young colleague Henrik van Onna together with a fellow candidate achieved the top two places in NRW in the IHK final examination. This outstanding achievement was honored at a ceremony in the Siegerlandhalle in the IHK district of Siegen on the 8th of November 2024. Our congratulations on this exceptional achievement!

The exam required not only theoretical knowledge, but also practical skills. Within five days, the students had to develop and implement an algorithm that would logically insert wooden cubes into a complex wooden puzzle - a demanding task that is very different from the challenges of everyday tasks at DSA, which involve developing innovative solutions for the mobility of tomorrow.

During the last three years of his dual training as a mathematical-technical software developer, our previous apprentice Henrik van Onna got to know various areas of work at DSA and acquired extensive programming skills. On the one hand, he was an integral part of his team and was able to work on various projects. Nevertheless, he also had enough time to prepare optimally for the exams and was supported by his team colleagues at all times.

His success shows how important commitment, a sound training and the support of a motivated team are. We are all the more pleased that he will stay with us! As a trained software developer, he will continue to work on innovative solutions. We are proud of this outstanding achievement and wish him all the best for his future career!
