The ceremonial presentation of the scholarship certificates for the 2025/26 academic year took place at the 24th of November 2025 in the Kröungssaal (Coronation Hall) of the Aachen City Hall – a location that underscores the special importance of education, responsibility and regional cooperation. This year's ceremony featured a speech by the new Chief Mayor of Aachen, Dr Michael Ziemons.

DSA once again awards four scholarships to students in the fields of mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology. A total of 120 students receive funding in this academic year. The aim of the funding is to support young talents at an early stage and to give them practical insights into career prospects alongside their studies. As part of the scholarship, company visits, workshops and networking meetings offer scholarship holders guidance for their future career entry.

The long-standing cooperation between DSA and FH Aachen stands for a shared understanding of responsibility for the region. The combination of scientific education and practical experience is a central component of sustainable innovation. With its commitment to the Germany Scholarship, DSA continues to make an active contribution to promoting young talent and strengthening the regional innovation ecosystem.
